
Candidates file for City electionsCity elections in Braddock, Hague, Hazelton, Linton and Strasburg will be done by mail or at the Emmons County Courthouse on June 10. A vote-by-mail instruction postcard has been sent to all Emmons County residents, and can be used to vote prior to election day. A joint powers agreement between Emmons County and its communities will allow all county residents to vote for national, state, county and city officials at the courthouse on June 10. Polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., on June 10. The following are candidates who have filed for city elections in Emmons County: Braddock Five city and park board seats will be decided in Braddock. Candidates who filed include: Commission (2 seats, 4-year terms)Incumbents Pius Hager, Sr. and Myron Rahrich. No one else has filed. Park Board (2 seats, 4-year terms)Incumbent Mark Bruun and Tim Reamann. No one else has filed. No one has filed for the 4-year, unexpired term of Theresa Hager, who resigned due to health reasons. The ballot will also include a measure for the City of Braddock to continue to publish the minutes of the City Council proceedings in the official newspaper as a legal notice. Hague One Commission seat and the mayors position will expire in Hague this year. Commission (1 seat, 4-year term)Fidelis Volk. No one else has filed. Mayor (4-year term)Incumbent Don Nagel.
