The 26th Annual High Prairie All-Star Football Camp will be held June 2 and 3, in Linton. The camp is directed by Linton-HMB Football Head Coach Dan Imdieke, and will feature instruction from quality college and high school coaches from around the state.

NCAA and NAIA coaches who will instruct at the camp include Chris Mussman, Head Coach of the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux Football team, along with UND assistant coaches John Kelling, Mike Mannausau, Greg Breitbach, Digger Anderson, Tim Belmore and Paul Charbonneau. Other college coaches at the camp include Bud Etzold, Jake Helmin, Mark Martin and Brent Maynard of Jamestown College; and Myron Schulz, Chris Clements, Duncan McLean, Gary Cooper, Chris Fisk, Jason Petrino, Jeff Dockter, Mike McMahon and Phillip Mannie of the University of Mary.

High School coaches include Richard Bjerklie, Tim Dockter, Tad Larson, James Haak and Bob Weber of Linton-HMB; Dave Zinke of Rolla-Rock Lake, Glenn Hangaard of Hankinson, Cameron Dockter of Fargo South, Kevin Dockter of Central McLean (Underwood-Turtle Lake-Mercer), Travis Olson of Richardton-Taylor, Mike Mayer of Grant County-Flasher, Jason Klussman of South Border (Ashley-Wishek), and Mark Gibson of Bismarck High School.

The camp begins with registration on Monday, June 2, beginning at 8 a.m. Drills will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on June 2 and 3.

Points that will be stressed at the camp include flexibility, agility, conditioning, ball-handling, blocking and tackling fundamentals, running back, quarterback and receiving skills, and weightlifting.

Participants will need to bring football shoes, mouth guards, sweat pants, shoulder pads, athletic supporter, sweat socks, helmet, towels, a football jersey and extra clothes to the camp.

The fee for the camp is $55 for players in grades 9-12, and $40 for 7th and 8th Grade players. The deadline to register is May 31, and the fee must be paid in full with the registration form.
