LaMoure/Litchville-Marion and Sargent Central/North Sargent captured the Girls and Boys team titles, respectively, in the Region I Qualifier Golf Tournaments, held May 5, at Grand Rapids Memorial Park Country Club.

In the Girls Division, the Lady Loboes shot a 424, finishing 17 strokes ahead of runner-up Linton (441). Other teams competing were Ellendale (446), Sargent Central/North Sargent (448), Lidgerwood/Hankinson-Fairmount (473), Lisbon (477), South Border (482), Napoleon (486) and Edgeley-Kulm (500).

Amber Piatz of Napoleon was the individual Medalist with a 95, followed by Hailie Gentzkow (99) of LaMoure/L-M, and Chelsie Aken (102) of Lidgerwood/Hankinson-Fairmount. Rounding out the top ten place winners were Shannon Brauer (102) of Ellendale, Maria Brecker (104) of Sargent Central/North Sargent, Paige Tomkins (106) of Milnor, Kayla Rodin (106) of LaMoure/L-M and Hailey Dockter (106) of Linton. Alicia Weisser of South Border, Megan Carr of Linton, Kailey Fuller of Ellendale and Samantha Peterson of LaMoure/L-M each shot a 107 to finish in a tie for 9th place.

Other participants from Linton were Stacy Vander Vorste (111), Whitney Gerving (117), Eliza Fisher (139) and Margaret Burke (60 in 9 holes).

SC/NS shot a 343 to capture the team title in the Boys Divison. Edgeley-Kulm (350) was the runner-up, while South Border (351) finished 3rd. Rounding out the 11-team field were Lisbon (352), Milnor (352), Napoleon (363), LaMoure/Litchville-Marion (366), Ellendale (373), Linton (397), Central Prairie (402) and Oakes (432).

Tyler Riesenhauer of Ellendale was the individual Medalist with an 81, followed by Dillon Bishop (81) of Lisbon, and Charlie Taylor (83) of Edgeley-Kulm.

Rounding out the top ten place winners were Seth Ordahl (83) of Milnor, Isaac Lehr (84) of South Border, David Eklund (84) of SC/NS, Casey Coleman (84) of SC/NS, Devan Elinberger (85) of Milnor, and Zach Mitchell (85) of SC/NS. Simon Anderson of Edgeley-Kulm, Nolan Meidinger of Linton, and Nick Cooper of Lisbon each shot an 86 to finish in a tie for 9th place.

Other participants for Linton were Jon Pavlicek (94), Kelsey Larson (101), Lukas Holzer (116), Nathan Meidinger (117) and Cody Sehn (117).
