The Region V Track Meet will be held Saturday (May 17) at the Bismarck Community Bowl, and the top two place winners in each event will qualify for the State Class B Track Meet, which will also be held at the Community Bowl next weekend (May 23 and 24).

However, six Linton tracksters took care of business beforehand, by qualifying for the state meet by time at earlier meets. Colin Hulm, Monte Deis, Zach Serr and Alex Deis make up the Lion 400-meter relay team, which qualified with a time of :45.31.

Hulm and Alex Deis, along with Jared Jacob and Zach Tesky make up the 800-meter relay team, which qualified for state with a time of 1:33.33.

Individually, Hulm qualified for state in the 300-meter hurdles (:42.24), while Deis qualified for state in the 100-meter dash (:11.24).
