Dr. Gary Watts, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Jamestown College, announces 245 students have been named to the dean’s list for the 2012 fall semester.
Students on the dean’s list are Derek Roemmich, Scott Roemmich and Trent Roemmich of Linton, sons of Ross and Monica Roemmich; Katie Carpenter of Moffit, daughter of David and Vicki Carpenter.
The dean’s list includes all full-time students who, during any given semester, earn a grade point average of 3.50 or better on a minimum of 12 semester credits.

The Office of Enrollment Services at Valley City State University has announced that Mason Ryckman, son of Dan and Sandy Ryckman, Hazelton, has been awarded a VCSU V-500 Scholarship for the 2013-2014 academic year. Mason will graduate from Linton High School in May of 2013.
Valley City State University scholarships are made available as a result of the support of alumni and friends of the university. Students are selected to receive these scholarships on the basis of their high school GPA, ACT/ SAT score and their high school class rank.

The North Dakota State College of Science,Wahpeton has named 342 students to its fall semester 2012 President’s Honor List.
The Honor List recognizes students who have achieved grade point averages of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 credit hours.
The honorees include:
Linton: Kayln Schneider, Dental Hygiene, daughter of Ken and Donna Schneider; Hazelton: Benajah Orthmeyer, Diesel Technology, son of Don and Denice Orthmeyer; Hague: Aaron Kocher, Automotive Technology, son of Kevin and Theresa Kocher.
