Wilhelmina ‘Minnie’ Klein, 90, of Bismarck

Wilhelmina “Minnie” Klein, 90, Bismarck, was reunited with her husband Johnnie, on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013. She died at the Baptist Home in Bismarck.

Minnie was born Jan. 27, 1922, in Artas, S.D., the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Senger) Seiler. She was raised on the family farm nearArtas and attended a rural school near their farm.

Minnie married John Klein on June 4, 1945, at Zeeland. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Minnie and Johnnie were long time members of St. Mary’s Parish.

Minnie is survived by one daughter, Maryn (Lloyd) Unser, Mandan; one son, Ken (Alice) Klein, Bismarck; her three grandsons, Daryl (Amber) Unser, Moorhead, Minn., Craig Unser, Mandan, and Michael (Melanie) Unser, West Fargo; her greatgrandchildren, Heidi Unser and Thomas Unser, West Fargo; Avry Unser and Alex Seigel, Moorhead; one sister, Elizabeth Gnoinsky,Auburn, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents; two brothers, Joe and Mike Seiler; and three sisters, Helen Schneider, Annie Silbernagel and Evelyn Wald.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 12 noon Friday, Jan. 18, at Church of the Ascension, Bismarck, with the Rev. Msgr. Gene Lindemann officiating.

Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Church of St. Mary, Bismarck.
