On Thursday, Jan. 17, Eldon and Twylah Hollaar accompanied John and Harriet Haak to Bismarck. Eldon and John had clinic appointments and both had good reports. Judy Van Beek joined the above for supper at Applebee’s.
On Tuesday, Ernest and Carol Dykema, Gerrit and Frances Nieuwsma, Jim Hollaar, John and Harriet Haak and Judy Van Beek had dinner at the home of Eldon and Twylah Hollaar. They observed Francis’s birthday which was that day. Judy Van Beek was an overnight guest of Eldon and Twylah.
Steve and Sally Huizenga and Ken and Georgia Vander Vorst attended the Ag Show in Minot on Wednesday and Thursday. Ken and Georgia were overnight guests of Trenton and Christy Vander Vorst.
Eldon and Twylah Hollaar went to Linton on Friday. They had noon lunch with Eldon and Carol Nelson and John and Harriet Haak at the Senior Center. Eldon and Twylah stopped at the Strasburg Care Center to visit Irene Anderson, Clint Dykema, Harley and Marion Vander Vorst and others before returning home.
Thursday afternoon, Eldon and Twylah Hollaar visited at the home of Everett and Peggy Van Beek. Their son, Ed Van Beek, also stopped to visit.
Jeff and Paula Boehm, Stephen and Anthony of Detroit Lakes, Minn., were weekend guests at the home of Jerome and Linda Pool. They all attended the Sunday morning church service.
Sunday afternoon, Gerrit and Frances Nieuwsma accompanied Eldon and Twylah Hollaar to Eureka, S.D., to hear the mens chorus singing “Hymns Beat the Blues” at the Eureka Reformed Church. They enjoyed the soup supper held at the Eureka Methodist Church.
