Linton-HMB Basketball team holds Little Lion Basketball Clinic



The 25th Annual Little Lion Basketball Clinic was held on Saturday, Jan. 26, in the Linton High School Gym. Thirtynine kids, grades K-4, attended the clinic, which was directed by Linton-HMB Head Boys Basketball Coach Dan Carr, and conducted by the Linton-HMB Boys Basketball assistant coaches, players and statisticians. The clinic stressed basic basketball fundamentals, such as shooting, dribbling and agility, but participants also learned about good sportsmanship, citizenship and flag etiquette. At the end of the clinic, awards and door prizes were presented. Participants of the clinic showcased their skills during halftime of the Linton-HMB vs. Shiloh Christian Varsity Boys Basketball game on Feb. 8.
