50 YEARS

Milwaukee Railroad asks to close station at Hague. Braddock High School captures first county boys basketball championship; Hazelton takes second and Linton third. Hague District to vote on bond issue of $89,500 to erect and construct a new gym and additional classrooms.

75 YEARS

Linton City Council okays plan for new city hall. Forecaster who predicted drought sees better year ahead for farmers. According to fog, rains are coming in April and May.
