Arriving at the home of Sharon and Patrick Wolf for the funeral of Eugene E. Nolz on Thursday were Rosie Grimes and Sarah Williams of Wright City, Mo. Later that night Pauline, Wayne, Amy and Michael Filson, Kayla Lowe, Katie Tharp, Rebecca and Eric Twellman all from Missouri arrived.
On Friday Tom and Jared Nolz and Kathi Brady all of Garretson, S.D.; Mary and Damian Weber Jr. of Florida; Rachel Nolz, Savannah Wolf and Jake Mathre of Minneapolis, Minn.; and Cassie Williams of St. Louis, Mo. arrived. They all returned to their homes on Sunday.
Friday evening after the prayer service for Eugene Nolz, Allan Wald from Hague stopped in to visit with his godfather, Bill Wald. Al, Bonnie, Mitchel, Conner, Emma and Dominic Wald came to the Bill Wald home Friday evening. Al attended the funeral of Eugene Nolz on Saturday morning at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. They went back to Bismarck early Saturday evening.
Kristen Scherr came home from Fargo on Friday and Emily Scherr from Bismarck. They spent the day with Tom outside on the farm. On Saturday Tom and Joyce attended the funeral Mass of Eugene Nolz, Sr. at Zeeland. On Saturday evening Tom, Joyce, Kristen and Emily traveled to Hague to attend Victor Meier’s surprise 60th Birthday party. Sunday Kristen headed back to Fargo. Tom, Joyce and Emily and Vicki and Frank Meier went to Hague for the KC pizza party.
Jim, Marie and Mark Feist went to Bismarck on Monday. Marie had an appointment with her doctor. Jim and Mark had a bunch of errands to do. They stopped in Mandan and took their daughter, Melanie, and Patrick, their grandson for lunch and a visit.Also saw another grandson Ronald for a few minutes. Marie went to Amanda’s for the afternoon while Jim and Mark did their running around. Amanda cooked supper for all of them. Bethany and Mike Heilman were also able to join them for supper. Marie got to spend the afternoon playing with Taylor and Caleb. Veronica Petersen stopped in for a visit also.
