Lady Clippers pull out win over South Border

Strasburg-Zeeland outscored South Border, 14-8, over the final 8:00 to pull out a 49-48 victory over the Lady Mustangs inAshley on Jan. 31.

With the victory, Strasburg- Zeeland improved to 3-4 in District 6 and 8-6 overall, while the loss dropped South Border to 6-8, including a 2-4 mark in District 6.

Ali Wolf scored a gamehigh 16 points with 5 rebounds and 2 steals, while Brittany Moser (4 rebounds, 3 assists) and Courtney Bubach (5 rebounds, 2 assists) scored 8 points apiece for Strasburg-Zeeland. Jennifer Wikenheiser chipped in 7 points and 3 rebounds for the Lady Clippers. Kalli Scherbenske and Morgan Schnabel scored 12 points apiece to lead South Border.
