Linton Hardware Center Owners Terry and LaDean Schafer donated a stuffed lion to the Linton Public School to be displayed as a mascot at the school. A lion has been the mascot for Linton High School since the school’s sports programs began in 1924, and it is currently the mascot for the Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Sports teams.
