Imdieke and Hase named State Coaches of the Year
Imdieke, who is in his 37th season as Head Coach of the Lions, has coached 20 State Champions, since taking over the coaching reigns at Linton High School in 1976-77. It is the third time Imdieke has been selected as Class B Coach of the Year. He also won the award in 1983 and 2001.
Hase served as an assistant coach for Linton-HMB for 10 seasons (2003-12) before becoming Co-Head Coach for the Lions at the beginning of this season.
Linton-HMB turned in a fine performance under Imdieke and Hase this season, placing second in the Region I and State Class B Dual Tournaments, fourth in the Region I Individual Tournament, and 6th in the State Class B Individual Tournament.
