On Friday afternoon, Willis and Jane Vander Wal were at Harold and Mary Ryckman’s after the World Day of Prayer service at the Westfield Church.

On Saturday afternoon, Tyler, Jaimie, Alaina, Hannah and Sienna Vander Wal of New Salem were in the area and stopped at Willis and Jane Vander Wal’s and had supper with them before returning home.

On Sunday afternoon, Willis, Jane and Daniel Vander Wal went to Bismarck and met with other family members for the 6th birthday party of Emma, daughter of Austin and Sheila Vander Wal. Other grandparents, Russell and Elaine Ryckman, also attended. Willis, Jane and Daniel visited with Ralph Wetzstein at St. Gabriel’s before returning home. Daniel returned home to Leola that evening.

The RCWM led the World Day of Prayer service in the church parlors Friday afternoon. The Hull Christian Reformed and Strasburg Reformed churches were invited guests. Lunch followed.

On Tuesday afternoon, John and Harriet Haak accompanied Eldon and Twylah Hollaar to Mobridge, S.D., and enjoyed supper together at West Pollock Resort.

Gerrit and Frances Nieuwsma visited at the home of Eldon and Twylah Hollaar Thursday afternoon.

Aaron and Kristy Van Beek and Eddie of Fargo were weekend guests of Ron and Kathee Van Beek and visitors at the Sunday morning church service. Levi and Jenn Van Beek and Hank joined the above on Saturday.

Ken and Georgia Vander Vorst and granddaughter, Ashlyn Vander Vorst, of Herreid, S.D., drove to New Ulm, Minn., on Saturday and attended the ice skating show in which Alexius and Addison Rustin participated. Ken, Georgia and Ashlyn were overnight guests of Shane and Stephanie Rustin and girls. Sunday morning, they all attended church and had dinner at Perkins before Ken, Georgia and Ashlyn left for home.
