Clifford Werre, 76, of Kintyre died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on the morning of Feb. 23, 2013, in his vehicle on a vacant farmstead about six miles south of Kintyre. Burleigh County Sheriff’s Office had notified the Emmons County Sheriff’s Office early that morning of a person who was possibly suicidal and enroute to the Kintyre area.
