Emmons County Community Choir to perform Easter Cantata Sunday in Strasburg



The Emmons County Community Choir performed an Easter Cantata “Love So Amazing” at the Strasburg Care Center on Sunday afternoon and at the Hope Reformed Church in Westfield Sunday evening. The final performance will be Sun., March 24, at 7:30 p.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Strasburg. Kellie Wikenheiser is the director, Chris Nieuwsma is the accompanist and Arlyn Van Beek is the narrator. Choir members with Director Wikenheiser are, front row, left to right, Wikenheiser, sopranos Jane Vander Wal and Doris Van Beek, altos Terri Lang and Merlynn Vander Wal, tenors Russ Ryckman and Jerome Pool and basses Steve Nieuwsma and Don Pollock; back row, sopranos Stella Stout and Anne Nieuwsma, altos Winerva Van Heukelom and Elaine Ryckman, tenors Carter Vander Wal and Cody Vander Wal and basses Willis Vander Wal and Derry Pool.
