Monday afternoon, Eldon and Twylah drove to the home of Roger and Wanda Larson in Sioux Falls and were guests there until Thursday due to the ice and snow stormy weather. Thursday afternoon, Eldon and Twylah left Sioux Falls and arrived home safely that evening. Everyone appreciated the moisture but the iced trees and poles caused electricity failure which made for a lot of work to restore the power and clean up.
Some from the area attended the Pollock Auxiliary Salad Luncheon held at the School Community Center Saturday afternoon.
The Church services on Sunday were cancelled at Hope Reformed Church Sunday morning and at Hull Christian Reformed Church Sunday evening due to the heavy snowfall. The moisture is very welcome although hampers the farmers who are calving.
