Senior piano recital will be held at the Zeeland School gym April 21

Three piano students of Mrs. Trudy Fraase Wolf will present a joint senior recital on Sunday, April 21, at 2 p.m. in the Zeeland School Gym. Elisabeth Bender is the daughter of Donavon and Lorie Bender and attends Zeeland Public School. Mikayla Meidinger, the daughter of Steven and Michele Meidinger also attends Zeeland Public School. Holly Krumm, the daughter of Francis and Kelly Krumm attends Strasburg Public School.

Holly Krumm will be performing Invention No. 8 by J.S.Bach, Sonatina Op. 36, No. 6 by Muzio Clementi, the first movement of Sonata Op. 46, No. 2 by Ludwig van Beethoven, and The Prayer by Sager and Foster. Mikayla Meidinger will be performing Fur Elise by Ludwig van Beethoven,the first movement of Sonatina in G by Franz Joseph Haydn and You Are My All in All by Dennis Jerningon, Mikayla will be joined by her sister, Marissa, playing flute for that last piece. Holly and Mikayla will also be playing a duet on Pachelbel’s Canon in D arranged by DenesAgay. Elisabeth Bender will perform Lilacs in the Moonlight by James Bastien, Minuet in G Major by J.S. Bach, and the first movement of Sonatina Op 36. No. 1. by Muzio Clementi. Elisabeth will also perform a bass clarinet solo, Romance and Troika by Prokofieff and arranged by Hummel.

After graduation, Elisabeth plans to attend the University of North Dakota. Mikayla plans to attend Bismarck State College and Holly will be attending the University of Mary.

The recital is free and open to the public. Please come and support these musicians as they celebrate their accomplishments through years of music study.
