Sincere sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of Dorothy Ryckman.

Austin and Sheila Vander Wal and family of Washburn, attended the funeral for Dorothy Ryckman on Saturday and were also visitors at the Sunday morning church service.

Eldon and Twylah Hollaar went to Bismarck on Friday where Eldon had a clinic appointment. They were dinner guests at the home of Sid and Marlene Backman and attended the retirement reception held for Nancy Kilmele at the Steer Inc. Office. She served as an administrative assistant/secretary for Steer Inc. for 21 years. Eldon and Twylah visited Judy Van Beek at her home before returning home.

Arlyn and Doris Van Beek have moved into their home in Linton. Taylor and Cole Beck were Saturday overnight guests of their grandparents.

Willis and Jane Vander Wal left on vacation on April 3 driving to Yuma, Ariz., and making stops along the way. They visited Larry Haisley in Sun City, Ariz., visited Gordon and Mavis Klaudt in Mesa, Ariz. They spent one week in the same trailer park where Rick and Kathy Seymour live. Then they drove to Branson, Mo., for a few days where they took in some shows. At Marionville, Mo., they visited Louise Winterberg in a care center, two sisters were also visiting there. In Springfield, Mo., they visited Richard and Sare Hobbs, parents of Marcie Vander Wal. Dean and Marcie were visiting there for the weekend. Sunday, Willis and Jane were overnight guests of Dean and Marcie in Kansas City, Mo. Monday evening, they were supper guests of Dan Vander Wal in Leola, S.D., and returned home. They had an enjoyable vacation but after three weeks living out of a suit case, said it was good to be home.
