Voices for Lake Oahe Annual Membership Fun Night



The Voices for Lake Oahe (VFLO) held its annual Membership Banquet and Fun Night on April 27, at the Linton Knights of Columbus Hall. The event included a meal, VFLO Board election, door prizes, a bucket raffle, a card raffle, and the announcement of the winners of the annual VFLO raffle. The event also included a guest speaker in Terry Fleck (The Attitude Doctor). VFLO Chairman Tom Jochim was the emcee for the VFLO Annual Membership Meeting. Jochim also announced raffle winners, and gave an update on the Cattail Bay road project. Perry Kimble, owner of Kimble’s Guns & Repair in Linton, displayed some of the shotguns, rifles and pistols that were prizes in the VFLO Grand Prize raffle. The raffle included a Remington 870 Express 12 gauge shotgun, a Savage Axis XP 22-250 rifle, a Remington 770 Sportsman 308 rifle, a DPMS AR-15 Panther Sportical 223-cal. rifle, a Howa 25-06 rifle with Hogue stock, a Savage 18004 243 rifle with Bushnell scope, a Stoeger 20-gauge shotgun, a Ruger American 270 pistol, and a Taurus Judge pistol.
