April ag prices listed
Preliminary prices received by farmers for spring wheat for April 2013 averaged $7.65 per bushel, a decrease of 21 cents from the March price, according to the USDA, NationalAgricultural Statistics Service, North Dakota Field Office.
Durum wheat, at $7.80 per bushel, decreased 36 cents from the previous month. Winter wheat averaged $7.05 per bushel, a decrease of 32 cents from March.
The preliminaryApril feed barley price, at $4.75 per bushel, was down 56 cents from last month. The malting barley price, at $6.40, was down 24 cents from last month.
The preliminary April all sunflowers price, at $25.10 per cwt, was up 60 cents from last month.
Canola averaged $27.40 per cwt, an increase of 10 cents from March.
Soybeans, at $13.50 per bushel, decreased 40 cents from last month.
The preliminary April flaxseed price, at $14.80 per bushel, was up 40 cents from last month.
Corn, at $6.30 per bushel, decreased 47 cents from the previous month.
The preliminary April all dry edible bean price, at $30.70 per cwt, decreased 40 cents from last month. The pinto price for March averaged $31.40 per cwt.
TheApril alfalfa hay price, at $126.00 per ton, was down $18.00 from last month. The other hay price, at $84.00 per ton, was unchanged from last month.
There were insufficient reports to publish preliminary April prices for oats, fresh potatoes, and processing potatoes. There were also insufficient reports to publish the navy bean price for March.
