Linton High School Spring Awards Banquet



The Linton High School Spring Awards Banquet was held April 29 in the Linton School multi-purpose room. During the banquet, awards were presented to participants in winter extra-curricular activities at the school. Activities recognized during the banquet (advisors/coaches in parentheses) were Student Council (Mr. Alan Bjornson), Girls Basketball (Mr. Pat Gerving), Speech (Mrs. Sandra Meidinger), FCCLA (Mrs. Jackie Wald), Wrestling (Mr. Dan Imdieke and Mr. Bruce Hase), Music (Mrs. Michelle Schumacher), FBLA (Mrs. Megan Wald), Boys Basketball (Mr. Dan Carr), Yearbook Staff (Mrs. Megan Wald) and Acalympics (Mr. James Fries). Receiving Awards for Lion Basketball were back row (left to right), Brooks Flyberg (21,450 off-season shots), Ryan Schneider (Best Free Throw %, All-District 6, All-SCC), Tyler Humann (Honorable Mention All-District 6 and All-SCC), Mason Ryckman (MVP, Most Improved, All-District 6, All-SCC), and Travis Baumiller (Best Defense); front row, James Schmaltz (11,200 off-season shots), Jon Purintun (Pride of the Lion, 16,800 off-season shots), and Jordan Hulm (10,250 off-season shots).
