Linton-HMB sweeps South Central Conference Track titles



Linton-HMB won both the Boys’ and Girls’ Division titles at the South Central Conference Track Meet in Linton on May 2. The Linton-HMB Boy’s team scored 180 points to capture the SCC crown for the third time in the past five years. Other SCC teams at the meet were South Border (153), Kidder County/Napoleon (100), Ellendale (96), Central Prairie (58), Strasburg (41), Zeeland (31) and Edgeley-Kulm (23). Members of the team include back row (left to right), Morgan Holzer, Rachal Umber, Amber Umber, Taryn Schlosser, Brittni Brandner, Paulina Haak, Kaidra Larson, Marley Click and Samantha Jochim (stat.); middle row, MaKenna Reich, Tiffany Smith, Sierra Bosch, Megan Martell, AlLee Vetter, Jadyn Gefroh, Taylor Aberle and Vanessa Volk; front row, Hannah Schumacher, Tiarra Bosch, Cassie Gefroh, Brooke Vander Laan, Makayla Ptacek, Rylee Kelsch and Tiffaney Gerving. Mr. James Haak is the Head Coach for the Linton-HMB Track teams, and he is assisted by Mr. Dustin Sailer and Mrs. Kathy Bohle.
