North Dakota State University Fargo

NDSU, Fargo, released its spring 2013 dean’s list.

North Dakota State University Fargo

Jessica Fetzer, daughter of Marlin and Tracy Fetzer, Zeeland, received the North Dakota State University FreshmanAcademic Scholarship in the amount of $3,500. The scholarship recognizes high academic achievement.

Fetzer will enter NDSU in the fall and plans to major in pharmacy. In high school, she was active in volleyball, Acalympics and Future Business Leaders of America.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nations top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.

North Dakota State College of Science Wahpeton

The North Dakota State College of Science has named 347 students to its spring semester 2013 President’s Honor List.

The Honor List recognizes students who have achieved grade point averages of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 credit hours. The honorees include: Aaron Kocher, Automotive Technology, son of Kevin Kocher of Hague; Zachary Krumm, Diesel Technology, son of Francis and Kelly Krumm of Hague; Benajah Orthmeyer, Diesel Technology, son of Donald and Denise Orthmeyer of Hazelton; Kayln Schneider, Dental Hygiene, daughter of Ken and Donna Schneider of Linton; Scott Roth, Electrical Technology, son of Tony Jr. and Rebecca Roth of Strasburg.

Lake Area Technical Institute Watertown, S.D.

The 46th Annual Lake Area Technical Institute graduation ceremony was held Friday, May 10, 2013, with 629 graduates receiving their diplomas.

Students were presented their diplomas by Deb Shephard, President of Lake Area Tech.

Local student receiving her diploma was Alissa E Eberle of Strasburg, Practical Nursing.

She is the daughter of Nattie Eberle of Strasburg.
