Vacation Bible school was held at the church with 35 students coming every evening. It was combined with the Hull Christian Reformed Church so teachers and helpers from both churches were invited. Their theme was “Son West Round Up.” The children showed great enthusiasm singing, reciting their memory verses and doing their skits in the program held Sunday evening. There was a large crowd attending and lunch was served following the program.

Monte Vander Vorst had surgery in Minneapolis, Minn., on Monday and came home on Tuesday. Friday morning, he was taken by ambulance to Bismarck and flown back to Minneapolis and had surgery to replace the stents to his pancreas and treated for infection. He is doing as well as can be expected at this time.

On Monday, Tyler, Hannah and Alaina Vander Wal came to the home of Jane and Willis Vander Wal. The girls attended Bible school and Tyler helped on the farm. On Saturday, they went to Litchville and joined Jamie and Sienna Vander Wal at her parents’ home.

Jane Vander Wal went to Bismarck for an appointment on Monday and took Devan Rohrich home with her and got Hunter and Conner for Bible school also. Owen had been visiting at the Vander Wal’s home.

Sheila and Janetta Vander Wal brought Jakob and Emma on Monday afternoon to the Jane and Willis Vander Wal home.

Sunday supper guests of Jane and Willis Vander Wal were Austin, Sheila, Jakob, Emma and Jocilynn Vander Wal, Tyler, Jaime and girls and Jake and Jean DeVries. They came for the Bible school program.
